NEWS WITHIN THE READING-BILLING-COLLECTING SYSTEM
Starting January 1st, 2012 CEZ Vanzare brings news within the reading-billing-collecting system for household customers from urban area. These changes imply reading the meter, issuing and sending the invoice every 3 months. In other words, the issued invoice will reflect much more accurately the actual consumption. Payment frequency and due dates do not change. Payments can still be made monthly, within 15 calendar days.
Thus, urban household customers will receive only one invoice quarterly. It will contain the adjustment for the previous period and data on the estimated consumption for the next two months.
In order to understand more easily, let us take the example of a customer to whom an invoice was issued on April 8th, 2012: the invoice contains the adjustment fro the period January 8th - April 8th, 2012 (8 usually being the quarterly date for reading the meter for this customer) and the estimate for the following two moths (April 9th - May 8th and May 9th - June 8th).
The three markers on the invoice (adjustment and the two estimates) have each a dedicated payment notice, notices included on the page together with payment liabilities. The notice afferent to each marker is used for payment within the indicated month (following the above example: "Payment Notice 1" for paying the adjustment within the April 8 + 15 days deadline "Payment Notice 2" for the „April 9- May 8" estimate within the May 8 + 15 days deadline and "Payment Notice 3 for paying the „May 9 - June 8" estimate within the June 8 + 15 days deadline).

USEFUL
Reading the meters and issuing the invoices for household customers will be made on daily basis, evenly distributed, on a three calendar months interval, so that, during this period, a household customer is allocated a precise date for reading and for issuing the invoice. We understand by „adjustment" the difference between the value of the actual achieved consumption and the value of the estimate consumption issued within the adjustment interval. The electricity quantities estimated for the months pursuant the adjustment, shall be updated automatically, depending on the actual consumption achieved within the previous similar consumption periods.
